GFR goes skiing

Team building event

I’m never tired of winning, and I’m never tired of skiing. – Lindsey Vonn

And we are definitely not tired of building a race car!

On Saturday, 4th of March, the team went skiing in Warth, Voralberg. We started the day with a „Weißwurst“-breakfast at 6 in the morning and we set off early to head towards the slope. We made the first runs all together in order to increase the team spirit. Afterwards, we split up in three groups according to the individual skiing skills. It was lunchtime when we discovered Jägersalp. The slopes there were more challenging and various. Until the last possible downhill, every team member finished as many runs as possible.

Our skiday ended with a nice après-ski afternoon and an evening stop at a team members’ home, where the team enjoyed self-made cake and some coffee. During this, our new first-year students had the possibility to listen to old GFR stories and experience the team.

All in all, we spent a nice day together as a team and enjoyed some relaxing hours before the more stressful assembly time.
